Private desktop integration

Move tasks into your local CRM. Keep your workflow simple.

Local CRM Tasks Bridge is a small desktop integration designed to transfer tasks you enter in Google Tasks into a locally stored customer relationship management (CRM) application.

What this application does

This is a private productivity tool for its authorized user, not a public task-management service. Google Tasks acts as a temporary inbox when the local CRM computer is unavailable.

Capture tasks anywhere

Create reminders and follow-up tasks in your Google Tasks account using its mobile app or web interface.

Import into desktop CRM

On your company computer, start a sync to fetch task titles, descriptions, and dates and save them in your local CRM database.

Clear imported items

After the CRM confirms a successful local import, the integration may delete the corresponding original Google Task to keep the remote inbox tidy.

How synchronization works

The desktop app requests Google Tasks access only with your permission. Synchronization is initiated from the local CRM. It does not make your CRM database publicly accessible.

STEP 01

Authorize

Sign in through Google's OAuth consent process. The requested Google Tasks permission is shown before you grant access.

STEP 02

Import

The local application retrieves task information and records it in the local SQLite database, with duplicate-import protection.

STEP 03

Clean up

Only after a task is successfully saved locally may its original Google Tasks item be deleted. Failed deletes can be retried without reimporting.

Google data access
The integration requests the Google Tasks read/write scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks) because it must read tasks and may delete items after a confirmed import. It does not request Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Calendar access.
